Where you need to be! Top 5 Art Museum Galas to Attend This Year

The Agora Culture rounds up the best fall museum galas and benefit parties that art appreciators at every level can look forward to.

As we are now into the second half of 2015, many think that the best museum galas and benefit parties of the year have come and gone. While I can agree that some great galas have passed such as the Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Gala and the Guggenheim’s Young Collector’s Party, as the fall approaches there are certainly more to come. Below, you will find a list of 5 of the top art museum galas to mark in your social calendar for the remainder of 2015. Many of the official dates for the galas have not been announced yet so be sure to keep checking back to the individual institution’s website.

This gala is perhaps the most coveted and most exclusive on the list. Expect to see a who’s who at both the gala and studio party of the art, entertainment and fashion industry. This year’s gala should be especially special, as this will be the first since the Whitney relocated to its new building in the Meatpacking District. The official date is not up yet, but the gala usually falls sometime in mid-November. For more information, please call (212) 671-5310 or email whitneyevents@whitney.org. It is also worth noting that you can buy a ticket just for the studio party.
